Frequentis - Push To Talk Ferret Switch

Frequentis AG working with Thales and Airservices Australia won a tender to refurbish and standardise the Australian Air Traffic Control Industry in Australia. As part of this tender, Frequentis had to supply and install 330 Push-To-Talk switches to air traffic control towers around the country. Initially Dienamics was approached to make the tool and run the plastic parts only, however, the scope was expanded to also include manufacturing the metal parts, assembly of the device, including electronic component assembly and serialisation of the parts.
